What You’ll Do
Leadership & Strategy
• Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers and testers, fostering a strong quality-driven culture.
• Define and implement QA strategy and best practices aligned with product goals.
• Act as a quality advocate across engineering, product, and DevOps teams.
Testing & Quality Processes
• Own and manage test plans, test cases, and overall testing strategy.
• Drive automation initiatives to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Select and maintain QA tools, frameworks, and testing processes.
• Ensure testing is integrated into CI/CD pipelines.
Quality Execution & Delivery
• Track and report quality metrics and testing outcomes.
• Ensure releases meet quality standards before production deployment.
• Lead defect triage, prioritization, and root cause analysis.
Continuous Improvement
• Coach and develop QA team members.
• Continuously improve QA processes and testing maturity.
Who You Are
Experience & Background
• Strong experience in software quality assurance, including manual and automated testing.
• Proven people leadership or QA ownership experience.
• Experience defining QA strategy and working cross-functionally.
Technical Skills
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies and testing life cycles.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks.
• Familiarity with test management and defect tracking tools.
• Knowledge of API testing and CI/CD workflows.
Leadership & Soft Skills
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and solution-focused.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.
Nice to Have
• QA certifications (ISTQB or similar).
• Cloud platform experience.
• Agile/Scrum experience.
